Sustainability as a corporate goal

People around the world are working towards sustainable development that will change the world. The United Nations has formulated 17 major goals in this regard. We are part of this big picture and see sustainability as one of our most important corporate goals. We continuously and consistently optimize our operational procedures and processes with regard to climate compatibility and sustainable business practices. We put sustainability into practice with various initiatives and measures and support the 17 global goals (SDGs).

Our contribution to ending poverty in all its forms and everywhere (SDG 1) is to promote safe and fair working conditions through permanent employment contracts and company pension schemes. Through long-term contracts with our suppliers, we create planning security and support local economic cycles. We are also committed to social justice through donations in kind and cultural sponsorship.

Securing food worldwide is the second global goal for sustainable development. Our catering therefore focuses on regional and seasonal products, vegetarian and vegan dishes and the avoidance of endangered fish species. Our caterers also set up “best leftover boxes” to minimize food waste.

Memberships – Optimally networked

We are very well connected on the subject of climate protection and sustainable events and value the professional exchange in these networks: fairpflichtet

The sustainability code of the event industry stands for initiative and a sense of responsibility in the internal organization of the company as well as in the implementation of events. Read the latest progress report to find out how the fairpflichtet principles are being implemented at CPH.

“Sustainably networked” – Hanau and the region

Regional network of companies, social and educational institutions, initiatives, associations, environmental schools and retailers. The common goal is to anchor the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals at a regional level and to identify prospects for action at a local level.
