The Congress Park Hanau

Congress Park Symphony

With the Congress Park Sinfonie concert series, Betriebsführungsgesellschaft Hanau (BFG) has been offering first-class concert experiences since 2009. Together with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt, the regular orchestra, which is hard to beat in terms of enthusiasm, the concert series has been developed into its current top form over many years of partnership.

Jens Troester is responsible for the symphony concert programs as Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the orchestra. You can already look forward to the 2025/26 season with its usual finely curated concert programs and internationally renowned soloists.

The CPH concert hall, which is widely known for its outstanding acoustics, guarantees that the music can unfold its full potential from “piano-pianissimo” to “forte-fortissimo”.

SEASON 2025/26

from romantic sonorities to modern discoveries

Rousing Symphony concerts, sonorous surprises and finely curated programs: The 14th season of the Congress Park Symphony begins on October 18, 2025. The program for the new season ranges from romantic sonorities to modern discoveries.

  • An energetic opening with Bacewicz’s Uwertura, Gulda’s jazzy cello concerto and Dvořák’s magnificent Eighth Symphony
  • A festive December concert with Coleridge-Taylor’s Christmas Overture, Schumann’s virtuoso concert piece for four horns, a humorous variation on Silent Night by Jens Troester and Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker
  • A multi-faceted third concert with Fanny Mendelssohn’s Overture, Bernstein’s impressive Serenade, Mozart’s Concertante for Wind Instruments and the haunting Symphony No. 40
  • A finale full of emotion with Lili Boulanger’s impressionistic morning shimmer, Chopin’s Second Piano Concerto and César Franck’s monumental symphony

Soloists such as Sebastian Fritsch (cello), the Quadricor horn quartet, Eva Zavaro (violin) and Schaghajegh Nosrati (piano) guarantee musical highlights.
